Petition To Make March 21st National Single Parent Day In Georgia

We, the citizen of Georgia, petition the state of Georgia to proclaim March 21st as National Single Parent Day.

1984 President Ronald Reagan proclaimed March 21st as National Single Parent Day. The National Leadership Group, Inc.,  a non-profit organization is working to make that date a distinguished and official Holiday in Georgia. 

The petition to make March 21st ‘Single Parent Day’ is not to encourage people to become single parents, but to recognize single parents dedication to their children and the achievements they have made in spite of sometimes many trying circumstances.
